If We Blow a Hole in the Backbone
April 7, 2006 Thoughts No CommentsI spent the day kicking around ideas with some really good folks over at DPI. We were talking initially about the Information Skills and Computer Skills curricula, but we sure ended up kicking around some big ideas that could have far-reaching consequences. Some were pie-in-the-sky, some were feasible within a year or two, some could stand to be talked about now.
When I got home, I had only a few minutes before I had to head back out to the theater. So I snuggled on the bed for a few minutes with the kitties, and got some spooning action from Kirk-puss.
Played a ComedySportz show, with lots of family in attendance. It’s John’s big birthday party, so JP came in from Denmark, Chris and Kristina from Austin, Frank and Anne from England, Nikki and Ian from Australia, my Uncle Doug and Aunt Judy from St. Petersburg (FL, not Russia), Doug Hale from the West Coast.

Good times with the show. I’d never met Ian, whom Nikki married last year, before the moment we got him up on the stage, and he was a gracious guest. I didn’t know Doug and Judy would be here, so that was a really nice surprise.
Now Ladybug and I are back home, lying in bed, watching Law & Order SVU. There’s just a little too much incest on this show. Otherwise, very good. We’re rocking season 2 now.
