I spent much time this morning disinfecting my computer from a VIRUS. I do hate the VIRUSES.

I was tipped off to the fact that something was wrong when my machine was exceedingly slow to boot after the wife used it last night to work on a paper. When it did boot, the virus protection program was showing an error and would not run a scan when I tried. So, before doing anything else, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and when it ran a scan, it turned up six infected files. All are quarantined, and no other harm seems to have been done.

And yet, I feel apprehensive…
