So, I have in my dirty little paws an e-mail from Warren Wilson College informing me that they have my completed application and I can expect to hear from them in three-to-six weeks. So, begin, begin, dreaded three-to-six weeks wait. Many thanks to all of you who wished me luck in this here space.

I spent today catching up on about two weeks worth of e-mails for work… I have just been behind, behind, behind. I’ve whittled the list down to 16 work e-mails and 4 personal e-mails that I need to respond to. And then there’s a couple that I don’t need to respond to, but would like to respond to.

I’m still trying to process all of the stimulus that was DSIF5, and it’s causing me to catch a cold. That’s just a lot of input for one head. It’s unfortunate that the overflow is coming out as mucous.

I wish I had contact info for everyone that rocked at the festival, so I could send them a personal thank-you. It’s exceedingly gratifying that so many people took the time to thank me at the shows and the party for a festival well done. I wish I could take the credit for it, but it really was all Zach, Zack, and Malinda. I just sort of stood around (and occasionally listened to people who were upset).

I’m listening to the Fiery Furnaces CD for the first time, and I see why people are all over it. It’s eclectic, nerdy, and just tame enough to be all-out pop.

I do not wish to catch a cold. Not at all. No sir. No cold. Don’t want it. Don’t need it. Don’t wish to take it home with me. Not for at least the next three-to-six weeks.
