Reading Through Some of the Old Stuff
January 25, 2005 Art No CommentsI’m applying to grad school in the next couple weeks– just one program, and it’s low-residency, so it would not affect my job or my evening improprieties (namely, improv, but occasionally, other naughty bits that are best not detailed here). So I have spent the last hour and a half or so reading through a ton of material that I produced between 1993 and 2002. I don’t seriously plan to use anything I produced as an 18-year-old on a grad school application, but when you get back to 1998 or so, you just keep reading out of morbid curiosity. My young self was a trainwreck! A trainwreck who liked love poems!
And I’m listening to Ice-T! O.G., fool!
I still really like love poems. But only good ones. And Ice-T.
