My DSI Level 1 class is one person away from full with two people interested in taking it. That’s really damn cool. I get a major jones out of teaching improv, because I’ve seen so many people take it further than just the stage in their lives, and it always seems to work wonders.

I get animated when I teach; some people mistake that for me being mad. I’ll hoot and holler and yell and scream. But to tell the truth, I rarely do so unless what I’ve just seen was one step away from inspired. If you didn’t come close, I won’t get so excited. And if I don’t believe you are going to come closer, hit it, and go beyond what I can teach you, I won’t get so excited.
