Heidi and I woke up at the ass-crack of dawn. 5 AM, people. With the sole intention of getting some cheap computers. We were fairly awake, we were fairly pleased to be up, we drove to Best Buy.

Understand, this is a large store with a large storefront. And as we drove up Columbia Pike, we saw the line stretching from the front door to the side of the building, then wrapping around to the back of the building. So, we turned around and went home to sleep.

We went back at 10:30, on the off chance that perhaps we could snag a decent deal, like perhaps a cheap Simpsons Season 1 DVD. And there was some stuff, but the checkout line was an hour long. So, we went to Circuit City across the highway.

Boom. It’s 11:23, and we’re in front of the TV in Durham again. Heidi’s on a new HP laptop, and I’m on a new HP desktop with flat panel LCD monitor. Whooooohoooo! Geeking out with my girlfriend is awesome!
